Chicken Murtabak



Recipe for 6 - 8 pcs murtabak

A) Filling 

200gm minced chicken - extra delicious if add more
1 potato diced small size.
1 large holland onion - diced small
2 tbsp chicken curry powder
1 stalk celery
3 curry leaves

B)
3 eggs + 1 stalk spring onions + 1/2 holland onion
Popiah skin big size


Preparation :-

  1. Saute some diced onion then add 2-3 curry leaves with oil.
  2. Then curry spices and saute until its arise oil and add the minced chicken. 
  3. After the meat already looks cooked thenadd the diced potatoes with a little water.
  4. Wait until the potatoes tender then seasoning with salt.
  5. In another container - add 3 eggs, spring onion, onion and stir well.
  6. Then add filling A into eggs batter.
  7. Spoon in 4 tablespoons of the filling on popiah skin and fold like murtabak form. (use flour+water as a glue to stick together popia skin)
  8. Fry on pan with a little oil until browned. 


Preparation Pickled Onions

Thin slices of onion, add 5 tablespoons of vinegar and a spoonful of sugar. Add a bit of red food coloring.
